| Born in North Platte, NE on April 2, 1913. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, Faulkner continued at the Art Institute of Chicago. During the Depression he painted murals for the Federal Art Project. While a resident of North Platte, he traveled throughout the country and painted in southern California in 1938. He died in Uncasville, CT on Jan. 5, 1997.
