| | Born in Florence, Italy on November18, 1914. At age twelve Fenci entered the Royal Institute of Art. Due to the Fascist regime, he immigrated to New York in 1938. He had a studio there briefly before moving to Wisconsin and then to Pullman, Washington where he was on the faculty at Washington State College. Fenci moved to Santa Barbara in 1944 and soon was busy with portrait busts. He died in Los Angeles on December 31, 1999.
