Richmond K. Fletcher
1885-1965
Richmond K. Fletcher, a Gloucester artist known for his coastal scenes, was born in Lowell, MA in 1885 and died in 1965. He was educated at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA; Harvard University in Cambridge, MA; and later, he studied in France. One of his accomplishments was the design of the West Portal of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York (showing 500 of 863 characters). |
