Biography from AskART:
| Robert Faro was a well-known modernist and architect from Chicago. He received his degree in architecture and design from the Armour Institute in Chicago, worked at L'Ecole des Beaux Arts from 1924-27 in Paris, influenced by Bieg and Le Corbusier, and worked with the Kecks under Louis Sullivan.
He was associated with the Bauhaus Chicago artists. There is renewed interest in his graphic abstract work from the 1940's.
His work is in the collection of Art Institute of Chicago and the Seattle Art Museum.
