Robert Winchester Fraser (1848-1906)
Born at Findrack, Aberdeen, Scotland on 25 July 1848 and baptised at Lumphanan, Aberdeen on 12 September the same year, son of Dr. Robert Winchester Fraser (1819-1892), an army surgeon, and his wife Mary Ann née Anderson (1820-1898). Dr. Robert Winchester Fraser settled at Bedford in 1861 and had six other sons and two daughters, many of whom took up painting.
