|  Russell Forester was born in Salmon, Idaho on May 21, 1920. Forester settled in La Jolla, CA in 1925. After a successful career in architecture, he retired in 1976 to devote himself to painting and sculpting, mostly geometric and abstract forms. He died in La Jolla, California on May 30, 2002.
