Sarah Freeman showed an early interest in art by painting and drawing birds. While a freshman in high school, she took a course in life drawing which introduced her to rendering the human form. During her sophomore year, Freeman won the national PTA Reflections 2000 Award of Excellence for a pencil drawing of her brother. It was as a sophomore
that she was fortunate to take a life drawing class with artist Jeremy Lipking at the California Art Institute. Under his guidance, Freeman learned h (showing 500 of 1388 characters). |
