|  Stella Bee Potter Finley was born in California on Dec. 26, 1896. A lifelong resident of California, Finley lived in San Francisco and Santa Cruz. She died in the latter on Nov. 11, 1987. Her paintings are sometimes signed, “Bee Finley.”
