| | Born in Santa Cruz, CA on July 31, 1871. Finkeldey was a lifelong resident of Santa Cruz and active in the local art scene. For many years she taught at Laurel School She was a pupil of L. P. Latimer whose influence is seen in her work. A spinster, she died on Sept. 28, 1948.
