The following information was submitted by his daughter, Victoria Davenport: Tom Funk was born in Brooklyn in 1911, and attended Amherst College, the Art Students' League and the Beaux-Arts Institute of Design, New York. Tom's career included freelance book, magazine and advertising illustration.
