| | Born about 1910. Virginia was the wife of artist George Flower. During the 1930s she was a resident of Pasadena and, with her husband, operated the Flower Art School in Pasadena at 55 N. Vernon. By the late 1930s she had moved to Alaska and was living with a fisherman named Hadman. While there, she authored a book about her adventures in Alaska called As a Sailor Loves the Sea.
