| | Painter. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan. 6, 1862, the son of artist Harry Fenn. The younger Fenn had a ranch at Santa Isabel in San Diego County, CA during 1892-98. He then moved to Montclair, NJ where he was active until returning to San Diego in 1921. During the 1920s and 1930s he maintained a studio in La Jolla in the Green Dragon Colony while residing nearby in Chula Vista. Poverty stricken, he died there on July 5, 1961.
