PAINTER, PRINTMAKER, ASSEMBLAGE ARTIST: Artist Statement
My work is abstract, in that the grammar of the visual language is the language of color, composition, line, form, texture, voids, shadows, glazes. It is the language of allusions to nature, and of metaphor, of dream states, of memory, filtered through veils, dappled surfaces, levels of space. I aim for the "art that conceals art", as if the (showing 500 of 4853 characters). |
