| Watercolorist. Born in Denmark in 1866. By 1910 Garlin had settled in San Francisco. An electrician, in his leisure he painted scenes of the Monterey Peninsula, Feather River Canyon, and Mount Tamalpais. He died in San Francisco on June 11, 1929.
