Bernard Geiser (1897-1965) was an artist-priest, ordained as an Episcopal minister in 1924. He was born in Geuda Springs, Kansas, and settled in Portland, Oregon where he died in 1965.
Geiser studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the University of Oregon, the Portland Museum School of Art, and with Andrew Vincent and William Givler.
He painted murals in France for the military during World War I, became the head of the art department at Western State College in Colo (showing 500 of 2049 characters). |
