Educated at the Art Students League, the Art Institute of Chicago and at the University of Iowa, Berta Golahny works in painting and graphic media, including monoprint, intaglio, and wood engraving. Her work combines figurative elements in abstracted settings.
Several of her extended series concern the nebulae, the layering of time, and the human condition under threat of nuclear disaster. One project, The Watchers and the Watched, combines her im (showing 500 of 777 characters). |
