| Betty Guy (American, 20th Century) is a painter known for her international cityscape and landscape watercolors with pen & ink, as well illustration work and mono-prints.
Guy studied at the San Francisco State University, did graduate work taking art classes and furthered her studies at the Alliance Francaise, Paris.
Her first exhibit was at the Gallerie Henri Tronche on Rue de La Boetie, Paris. She also had a long running exhibit at the University at California, San Francisco (UCSF) Faculty/Alumni House, which ended in 2005. Her first museum exhibit was at the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco in 1961.
Her works are in the collections of The Queen of England, Placido Domingo, Gianni Versace, and John Steinbeck.
