Biography from Yellow Bird Gallery:
| Bradford Graves was a New York based sculptor, born in Dallas, Texas, who was beginning to
enjoy increasing success when his life was cut short by a heart attack
at the age of 58. In his relatively short career, those who became
familiar with his work gave him considerable recognition, and his work
was added to a number of major collections. The Bradford O. Graves
Foundation was established to maintain his estate and ensure that the
work receives the broad recognition it deserves.
He moved to New York City
1958 and studied at the School of Visual Arts, the American Art School and
The New School of Social Research with Seymour Lipton.
1959 - 62
