| Carl Rudolph Gist (1873-1945)
Portrait painter. Born in Maysville, MO on July 30, 1873. Gist worked as an artist in St Joseph, Missouri for 30 years until 1923 when he settled in Pasadena and established a portrait studio. He died there on January 22, 1945.
