| | Born in Illinois on Oct. 16, 1906. Gazzolo settled in Los Angeles in 1915. During the Depression he was a commercial artist but abandoned this line of work and for 20 years was a bartender at Dodger Stadium. He died in Santa Ana, CA on Sept. 8, 1965. | Source:
