The daughter as well as student of Birger Sandzen, Margaret Sandzen was born in Sweden and immigrated with her family to Lindsborg, Kansas, where her father was a long-time art professor at Lindsborg College. She married Charles Pelham Greenough, III.
Because of back problems, she quit painting in 1961. Before that she had been an art Instructor at Bethany College from 1934-37 and 1942-46. She was also a writer on art subjects for magazines and lectured on Swedish (showing 500 of 2709 characters). |
