This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Clyde Beedle Gartner and her husband, James, founded the Arsuna School and Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1937. Gartner closed the school during War World II. The school offered courses in the arts including painting, drawing, crafts, music and writing. Raymond Jonson and Alfred Morang were among the instructors.

Clyde Beedle Gartner studied at the school as well as with Nicholas Roerich. Her artwork is in the collection of the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum.
