| David Glaser (b. September 29, 1919- d.May26, 2011)
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he studied at the Art Students League, the New York School of Industrial Art, and the New York School of Contemporary Art with Philip Evergood. He has been a commissioned artist for the Civilian Conservation Corps and created "Giggy F Useless" World War II cartoon character.
He has been active in the Comic Artists Guild and President of the Allied Artists of America. Working with mixed media, copper and illumination, he has done experimental silk screen production for industries and worked on new approaches for advertising. | |
