EDWARD GARBELY (1908-1999)
Edward Garbely was born on August 15, 1908 in Newark, New Jersey. He was best known for his harbor scenes, seascapes, landscapes. He studied at the Newark School of Fine & Industrial Art, including with John R. Grabach, A. H. Trouck, and Alexander Baranowski. He also studied with noted artist Emil Gruppe and NY artist Dorothy Koppelman.
He was a member of the New Jersey Society of Painters & Sculptors, the East Orange Art Club, (showing 500 of 1431 characters). |
