| Painter, architect. Born in Chicago, IL on April 29, 1872. Grey was educated in Milwaukee public schools and then served a three-year apprenticeship to architects Ferry & Clas there. By 1904 he had settled in Pasadena as an architect and partner of Myron Hunt. With Hunt, he designed Pasadena's Polytechnic Elementary School and Huntington Art Gallery in San Marino. The partnership was dissolved in 1910 and Grey then was architect of several of the First Churches of Christ Scientist, Pasadena Play (showing 500 of 891 characters). |
