| Emelia M Goldworthy Clark was born in Platteville, WI on June 3, 1869. Clark studied at AIC, Pratt Institute, and Otis Institute (Los Angeles). She taught art at Michigan State College, UC Berkeley and by 1914 had settled in Los Angeles where she taught at Manual Arts School until 1924 when she established her own school. Mrs. Clark died on March 27, 1955 in Los Angeles.
