Known for portraits, miniatures, watercolor landscapes, and murals, Emily Goeller pursued her study of art in her home town of San Francisco and also abroad. She first studied at the California School of Fine Arts, San Francisco, and then she went on to Europe.
In Paris she practiced under Andre Lhote and Paul Beaudoin before attending the American Beaux Arts in Fontainebleau. Goeller spent a short time in New York City, exhibiting at the Whitney Museum of American Art (1920), but she sp (showing 500 of 715 characters). |
