| Esther Goetz studied at the Art Students League with John Sloan and H. Wickey; she also studied in Paris. She lived in New York City. She was a member of the Society of Independent Artists from 1931-1944. She exhibited there during these years, and also at the Pennsylvania Acdemy of Fine Arts in 1934; Art Institute of Chicago in 1936, 1939; Boston Museum, 1935; Whitney Museum of American Art, 1938; Museum of the City of New York, 1944, 1945(solo), 1954; Albright Art Gallery 1945 (sol (showing 500 of 833 characters). |
