| Born in London, England, Florence Green became a painter, writer, and lecturer who settled in Long Branch, New Jersey where she was a member of the Asbury Park Society of Fine Arts. She exhibited with the Newark Art Club and won a medal from that entity in 1934.
She has work in the White House Collection and in the Women's Clubs of Kansas City, and Atlantic City. She served as editor of Art Digest and Art and the Women of America.
