Primarily known as an architect, Frank Gehry also did a few pieces of sculpture. His architectural commissions included work in California at Venice Beach, Santa Monica, The Disney Concert Hall, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.
In his sculpture, he blurs the lines between that medium and sculpture, and one of his repeated themes is the fish, which first appeared in his work in 1981. He also used this subject in formica lamp designs and bathroom interiors as well as in th (showing 500 of 3045 characters). |
