Fritz Genkinger (b.1934)
Born in 1934 in Tübingen, he grew up in Nürtingen, where he worked as a tool mechanic. In 1957, he entered the National Academy of Visual Arts in Karlruhe, studying under HAP Grieshaber and Herbert Kitzel.
He settled as a freelance painter in Karlsruhe and moved to Stuttgart in 1968. In 1970, he began working as a guest lecturer at the National Academy of Visual Arts in Stuttgart. In 1972, Genkinger received a stipend from the Cité Intern (showing 500 of 942 characters). |
