This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Gabrielle Gabriele was born December 24, 1899 and died Nov 1975.  She received a fellowship at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied under Daniel Garber (1880-1958) and Hugh Breckenridge (1870-1937).  She was a member of the Philadelphia Plastic Arts Club.

By 1930 she was living with her widowed mother on 96th Street in Stone Harbor (Cape May County) New Jersey, where she had opened an art gallery.  While living in New Jersey she became a member of the Cape May County Art League and the League of South Jersey Artists.

After her marriage sometime between 1938-1957, she was sometimes also known as Gabrielle Miller (Mrs. Gustav Miller).  Later she was also active in the Vero Beach-Indian River Florida area, where she and her husband probably wintered.  While in Florida she became a member of the Palm Beach Art League and Palm Beach's Society of the Four Arts. She died in Cape May Court House, New Jersey.
