"Galed Gesner studied at the Scott Carbee School of Art in Boston, Massachusetts, and privately in Philadelphia or Mystic with G. Albert Thompson, Robert Brackman, Kenneth Bates, and Jacques Maroger. Records of the National Academy of Design, where he exhibited only once ("Anatomy Student"), indicate that he had settled in Mystic, Connecticut, by 1945. He conducted classes and was an active member and a president of the Mystic Art Association. His work was represented at the Grand Centr (showing 500 of 2237 characters). |
