George Gansworth resides in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. The artist took to drawing at an early age and by 16 was published in the Philadelphia "Evening Bulletin." He studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art (BFA 1956) and while in school published a syndicated comic strip called "Otto" with Herb Valen of the New Yorker magazine.
The artist worked as a commercial artist and art director with advertising agencies and publishers before devoting himself full time to his painting in 1970. H (showing 500 of 726 characters). |
