George Gonzalez is a Texas artist known for his painstakingly rendered still-life works, moving back and forth between traditional realism and mysterious surrealism.
Gonzalez's parents came to Texas from Mexico a few months before he was born in 1966, seeking a better life for their children. The first time Gonzalez remembers drawing a picture was at the age of six. Gonzalez was bored with school and preferred staying home to draw. After high school Gonzalez insisted in the Army and lear (showing 500 of 1188 characters). |
