|  Georges Gobo (1876-1958)
Painter, lithographer, etcher, illustrator, sculptor. Born in San Francisco, CA in 1876. Gobo (né Gobeau) moved to Paris, France when quite young. A self-taught artist, he traveled widely, making sketches which he turned into etchings and lithographs. In 1945 one of his etchings was awarded a prize at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
