Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
| A mosaic artist, painter and sculptor, Gladys Graf was born in
Berkeley, California and attended the California School of Fine Art and
the University of California at Berkeley. During the Depression
Era of the 1930s, she created mosaic murals for the WPA in Berkeley at
the Schoonover Children's House and for the High School in Piedmont.
She also spent time in Washington state where she exhibited in 1929 at the Seattle Art Association, taking a first prize.
Gladys Graf died in Tacoma, Washington in December 1982.
