Born in Oakland, CA on Jan. 21, 1908. Grant attended the school of architecture at UC Berkeley. He died in Santa Barbara on March 1, 1940. An authority on Southwest Indians, the dominant theme of his artworks is Indian lore. He was the nephew of artist Gordon H. Grant and brother of artist Campbell Grant. Exh: GGIE, 1939.
