Greg Gutierrez, painter and sculptor, was born in Los Angeles, California in 1959. At the age of 30, after managing an international clothing company, where he designed beach and resort wear, he sold his interest in the business to devote full attention to his painting endeavors. He is known throughout the surfing and fishing world for his colorful, vibrant images of the surfing scene, and "wildlife" of the sea. He paints his images in oil, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media.
