| | Born in Manchuria on Jan. 18, 1909. Golubeff appears to have fled Russia with the threat of WWII. By 1940 he was a resident of San Francisco but soon moved south to Van Nuys. For 30 years he worked as a scenic artist for Walt Disney Studios while painting portraits and other fine art in his leisure. He died in Los Angeles on June 14, 1980.
