| Born in Prairie du Chien, WI on Nov. 3, 1872. "Hal" Gerome moved to California in 1892. He was a resident of Mill Valley, Los Angeles, and the Monterey Peninsula (1914) where he was secretary of the Pacific Grove Board of Trade.
