| | Painter. Born in San Francisco, CA on Feb. 24, 1912. "Hal" Goldman studied at the CCAC and CSFA under Oldfield and Boynton. While living in San Francisco in the 1930s and 1940s, he was active in the local art scene. His painting style was influenced by the French Modernists. After studying overglaze techniques on porcelain with Gertrude Holl, he produced painted pottery for Gump's. He died on Aug. 10, 1998.
