This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Greaver was born October 30, 1929 in Los Angeles, California.  His family moved to Kansas when he was four years old.  He received both a bachelor’s degree and masters of fine arts from the Univ. of Kansas in Lawrence, and studied at the Los Angeles County Art Institute. Taught at the Univ. of Maine from 1955-66 and was Director of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in Michigan from 1966 to 1978. Moved to Cannon Beach, OR in 1978 where he and his wife own a gallery.

Member: American Assoc. of Univ. Professors.

Exhibitions: Baker Univ., 1955; Knickerbocker Artists, 1958; Audubon Artists, 1960; Oklahoma Print Makers Society, 1960; Canadian Painter-Etchers & Engravers, 1960; American Watercolor Society, 1961; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 1961; Portland (ME) Museum of Art, 1961; Butler Institute of American Art, 1962; Colby College, 1964.
