| | Born in Ireland on May 15, 1865. Gaw moved to California in 1888. He was a resident of San Francisco until 1897 when he moved across the bay to Berkeley. A grocer, he painted in his leisure. Gaw died in Oakland on Dec. 28, 1928. Exh: SFAA, 1904-23. | Source:
