| | A resident of Wichita, Kansas, he has traveled the country looking for weathered farm buildings and rich landscapes. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and never formally studied art. He first worked for an industrial design firm in Wichita, drawing all kinds of items from toasters to telephones. Later he worked for an architectural design business, where he painted his own subjects after work. In the late 1990s, he began devoting nearly full time to his landscape painting and works closely with fellow artists Ed Pointer and Wilbur Elsea. |
