Janice
(Joan) Webster Galloway was born in San Leandro, California on October
16, 1912. Janice (or Joan as she was known) was influenced to
become an artist by her very talented mother, Viola Best Webster.
During
the 1930's, Janice studied at the Fox-Morgan School in Oakland,
California, and she majored in art at San Jose State University.
For years she studied portraiture with Robert Rische (showing 500 of 888 characters). |
