| Born in Ohio on Jan. 8, 1868. Jessie was the wife of John N. Gillies. While living in Alhambra, CA in the late 1920s and early 1930s, she painted portraits and floral still lifes. She died in South Pasadena, CA on Nov. 12, 1951.
