John Gawne (1952-)
A painter of the western landscape and Native Americans, Gawne graduated from Notre Dame University with a degree in accounting and subsequently worked as an accountant and then as a stockbroker at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In the early 1990s his drawings attracted the attention of collectors, and he soon devoted himself full-time to his art.
Born in Chicago in 1952, he lives with his family in Oak Park, Il (showing 500 of 1057 characters). |
