Jon Christopher Gernon (b.1969)
Born in Troy, NY in 1969, Jon Christopher Gernon's work is influenced by the 14th and 15th century and the Magic Realist painters. He started out as an illustrator for a toy company while still in college. He was first intrigued by the expressiveness of art after seeing the drawings and paintings of Egon Schiele in New York City.
