A native of Spain, Gonzalez is well-known as an illustrator and comic artist around the world.
Born in 1939 (or 1941), he began his artistic career doing illustrations, including book illustrations until the mid-fifties, when he was introduced to the comic book business, supposedly by Josep Toutain, who had seen some of his posters in a shop. His first big professional job was the French western comic Doc Holliday. However, he felt no affinity toward wes (showing 500 of 1957 characters). |
